Is Barakah for Mac available yet?
It's currently in TestFlight, ahead of its public Mac App Store release. Barakah is fully available for iPhone and iPad today. Email support if you'd like to be considered for TestFlight, or to be notified when the Mac app ships publicly.
Do I need to do anything to get ready?
Yes — create or join your family in Barakah on iPhone or iPad first, and make sure you're subscribed to Barakah Premium+. The Mac app is a companion and can't set up a family on its own.

Do I need a separate purchase for the Mac app?
No. The Mac app is included with Barakah Premium+ ($49.99/year) — it isn't a separate one-time or Mac-only purchase. Barakah Premium (iPhone/iPad only) does not include Mac access.
What can't I do on the Mac app?
The Mac app is read/write for day-to-day care data, reports, and printing, but family setup and administration stay on iPhone or iPad: creating the first family, inviting caregivers, changing roles, adding children, restoring backups, and leaving or deleting a family.
Privacy & data
Does Barakah for Mac send my data to a server?
No. It syncs through the same private iCloud account as your iPhone/iPad app — there is no BARAKAH TECHNOLOGIES, INC. server. See the full Privacy Policy.
How do I lock the Mac app?
Barakah for Mac supports the same optional app lock as iPhone/iPad: Touch ID on Macs that support it, or your Mac's password.
